Dewey Bargood
Origin: Dewey was created in 2002. Originally, he starred in his own series. It wasn’t until “Why Bother?” was created that he was paired up with Mac Zeckler as his roommate. In the “Why Bother?” storyline, the two have been friends since high school.
Personality: Dewey is usually very laid back and tries to avoid confrontations. Like Mac, he tends to think that others mean well when they are really scheming against him. Instead of going to college, Dewey works full time as a janitor at a middle school. Despite how different he is from Mac, Dewey has remained his loyal friend since high school.
Hobbies: Dewey enjoys drinking, watching football, playing video games, going to heavy metal concerts, and hanging out in bars.
Appearance: Dewey is usually seen smoking even though Mac’s been trying to help him quit. Dewey wears a hat with the name of his favorite football team on it (The Putzburg Stoners) and his shirt has the name of his favorite heavy metal band on it (Buzz).
